A red variety having medium-sized compact clusters of large berries. It is a vigorous grower, quite hardy , and ripens two weeks before Concord. should be pruned the same as Concord. Captivator is the best seeded, red dessert variety we have found, having very high quality and ripening very early.

Susceptibility to disease during an average growing season:

Downy Mildew - Mildly Susceptible
